Well after a very quiet Summer, I am moving back to Cardiff, hoping to get a studio up and running soon and there’s lots going on!
The ‘Lyrical One’ exhibition, celebrating the centenary of Dylan Thomas at Mission Gallery, will be opening to the public October 4th.
A selection of this years Cardiff Met Ceramics graduates (That’s me!) are exhibiting at M.A.D.E from October 14th-25th in association with Made in Roath
And this year’s Made by Hand is being held at City Hall in Cardiff, right at our doorstep. What! It’s being held from October 31st to November 2nd.
Here’s a link to their event page, don’t miss out!
And that’s only October!! Much more to come
One more day until the big reveal of The Albany Gallery's Summer Exhibition, and my porcelain forms are eagerly awaiting their audience.
27th June - 6th September
Plenty of time to take a wander around this Aladdin’s cave :)
Stepping this whole thing up a notch by collaborating two very unique technologies. Using a contact microphone, notorious music techy Benjamin Gale records this beautiful piece of machinery. A sturdy, somewhat crackly old production wheel from Stoke-on-Trent. It’s my hope that this experimentation will add new depths to my research into the catharsis of music and other creative processes.
The website is up and running, which displays all past and current work, exhibitions i’ve been or will be involved in and links up to this blog which i’ll be updating with the latest news
Five of my pieces from the ‘Soul Fly’ series have also been chosen to be a part of The Albany Gallery’s Summer Exhibition.
I’m graduating in July with a 2:2, the sun is shining and all is sweet and dandy!
Stay tuned for more exciting updates.
